Kayaks for sale

It took us by surprise when we found out that Scott Canoes had went bankrupt early in 2014, and we had to find a replacement canoe dealership that would fill the void of high quality kevlar canoes.
What we did was to go and talk to Bill Swift of Swift Canoes and see if he would open up a dealership for us along with our friends at Paluski Boats. Graham over at Paluski was instrumental in getting us a Swift Dealership and we decided that to start with we would offer the Swift Northern in both the Prospector and the Outfitter models.
They are tough canoes with a great shape, easy to paddle, and easy to portage. When we do our canoe trips to Algonquin Park, or to Bon Echo, or North Frontenac Park Lands, even Kawartha Highlands Park we are always using a Swift Northern Canoe.
The second bit of news that we have been eagerly awaiting to hear for almost 3 years now is that Pat and his crew over at Paluski are finally satisfied with their new Riptide kayak and are offering it to dealers.
When Andre saw this kayak in the workshop there he knew it was going to be a good one. It looks great, built along the lines of the classic Greenland sea kayak, and paddles like a dream.
We can’t wait to take our first long trip with these, great for day tripping too. Looks like this one will be our go to from now on.
In the off season we also worked out a dealership arrangement with Eureka Tents and we now carry all of their products, you will start to see more of them as soon as I can post them to the online store here.
We have also been asking the good folks over at Red Pine distributing about their products, and we were so impressed we are going to carry a full line up. You will start to see their products featured on the site very soon.
Lastly, we wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who supported us last year, and enjoyed their special product updates and canoe rentals, and trip planning in this area. It is always our pleasure to help you out. We wanted to tell you that it is now 3 of us working at both the online store and canoe rental and kayak rental. My wife Jane has joined our team full time, she will still be doing her custom photo business, but she is now part of the Land O Lakes Outfitters line up too. What more could a man ask than to work with his son and his wife full time, certainly a dream come true for me to see all of us working at something we all love so much.
The Paluski Riptide Kayak is the best all around recreational kayak made in Canada, yes it is made right here.
When Pat and Graham told us they were redesigning a pure Greenland model kayak into a slightly shorter recreational model we had our doubts, but not anymore.
Andre was chomping at the bit to get his hands on one last spring as they were in high demand. When he test paddled it we could not get him out of it.
This kayak will replace all of our other models for a rental kayak, it is that good.

With a built in handle, really comfortable seat we could paddle for hours, and often do.
The rubber hatches are convenient and accessible making the perfect all around tripping kayak, and our rental customers who were lucky enough to get to test one out last summer agree.
But, what really sets it apart is the intangible and very substantial stability factor. I just felt really secure in this kayak, almost as though the guys at Paluski took 10 years to design and test it, which they did.
The perfect recreational and tripping kayak for the novice to intermediate paddler, even a great cottage kayak because of the built in handles for securing the kayak to a tree if need be, it just works great, give it a test paddle.
